Emily Neuman Bauerle, Board Chair

Emily is a counselor and the Executive Director at Redemption Counseling Center. Emily has worked in the social work field for 14 years and gets excited about everything from the intimate details of individual sessions with clients to thinking about where Redemption Counseling will be in 10 years. Emily finds incredible solace in prayer, and loves to integrate faith and spirituality into the professional counseling work she does. It is out of this desire to integrate faith into the healing work of therapy that Redemption Counseling Center was birthed.




 

Michelle Olson, Board Treasurer

Originally from Cleveland, Tennessee, Attorney Michelle E. Olson completed her legal education at Pepperdine Law School in California. While at Pepperdine, Michelle worked for the United States Attorney’s Office, the Federal Public Defender’s Office in Los Angeles, and the Hon. Beverly R. O’Connell of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She also worked for the Ventura Public Defender’s Office representing active U.S. military and veterans.

Upon moving to Flagstaff, Michelle worked for Aspey, Watkins, & Diesel as a family law and estate planning attorney. Currently, Michelle is training to become a dependency attorney representing children and parents in foster care proceedings. She is passionate about mental health and advocating for individuals to receive mental health resources in Flagstaff. In her free time, Michelle and her family enjoy exploring the outdoors, playing with their dogs, and spending time with friends

 

Jake Ratzlaff, Board Secretary

Jake is a proud Flagstaff native.  He has worked for W.L. Gore & Associates, Inc. since 2006, primarily focused on Manufacturing Operation and Environmental Health and Safety Leadership.  Jake received his bachelors from NAU and enjoys spending time with his family, Lindsey, Van, and Oz.  Jake believes that mental health is paramount to individuals living a more whole and determined life and wants all to be able to have access for assistance no matter their circumstance.

 

Cassie Lynn Petit, Board Member

Cassie Petit is the Associate Vice President of Operations and Engagement for Advancement at Northern Arizona University. In her role, she is focused on leading the Alumni Engagement team, supporting the NAU Alumni Association and NAU Foundation Boards and assisting in the operational support of the division. Cassie joined NAU in January of 2014 as the Assistant Director of Learning and Development, then moved to the Development Officer for the Sanghi College of Engineering.  Prior to joining NAU, Cassie spent almost 10 years in the hospitality world. She held a variety of positions at both Boyd Gaming and MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas. She received her bachelor’s degree in communication studies from the University of Iowa and her master’s degree in human relations from Northern Arizona University. Cassie has two sons, Anderson and Declan that keep her busy. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, running, and reading a good mystery novel. She is passionate about RCC’s mission to bring health and wholeness to our community as well as removing barriers for access to services.

 

Pam Ramos, Board Member

Pam Ramos serves as the Senior Director of Development for The W. A. Franke College of Business at Northern Arizona University, where she leads strategic fundraising initiatives that advance both the college and the university’s mission. With a career rooted in higher education advancement and community engagement, Pam brings a depth of experience and a passion for making meaningful impact.

Before joining the College of Business, Pam held roles in University Marketing and with Sodexo Services, building a strong foundation in communication, service, and relationship-building. An alumna of NAU herself, Pam is deeply committed to supporting opportunities that foster student success and drive institutional growth.

Pam is also a dedicated advocate for accessible and inclusive mental health services, believing deeply in the importance of dignity and support for all.

She and her husband, Rudy, are proud parents of two adult daughters, their partners, and twin grandsons.

 

Marshal Bryant, Board Member

Marshal holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is a Certified Public Accountant. He began his career in Dallas with Arthur Andersen before joining Walter Bennett Co., where he served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and later Executive Vice President. During this time, he also served as CFO and board member for additional companies in advertising, public relations, television production, and government contracting with NASA.

In 1987, Marshal moved to Flagstaff to join the Grand Canyon Railway as Vice President of Finance and later President. He went on to serve as Chief Financial Officer and board member of the Grand Canyon Association and was a founding board member and Treasurer of the Grand Canyon National Park Foundation. He later served as Treasurer for a family office providing financial management services until retiring in 2021 and relocating to Santa Fe. Marshal brings deep experience in nonprofit governance and financial leadership.

He was drawn to Redemption Counseling Center for its commitment to expanding access to mental health care and removing barriers to services.
